Crunch Bar Cupcakes

Hey everyone!  It has been so long since I last posted, but that doesn't mean I haven't been baking!  A few weeks back I designed a cupcake for a friend who loves Crunch bars.  Here's what my result looked like!

I started with a basic chocolate cupcake.  I used my traditional frosting recipe and added crushed up Crunch bars to it, along with enough cocoa powder to tint it.

They were a big success, everyone loved them!  Thanks for stopping in!

Lemon Blueberry Cupcakes

Hi everyone! I have such a tasty treat to share today. :)  I found this recipe through pinterest a few days ago, and it looked so good I tried it yesterday!

You can click here for the recipe, it did take some time to make since they're totally from scratch but most definitely worth it!

Thanks for dropping by!

Fancy Cupcakes

I did it!! I finally got the swirl perfect on these cutie cupcakes! I asked the sister of a friend what tip she used to get the swirl so perfectly perfect, and I got a package of the tips just yesterday. :)

 Lucious frosting...ooooohh I love my frosting.....siiiiiigh......

The cupcake is a spice cake, and I used homemade buttercream frosting on top. :)  Then I used some sprinkles from a collection of Wilton sprinkles.  My cupcake wrappers were also Wilton, and my little brother got them for me for Christmas. :)
Thanks for peeking!!!

Pumpkin Torte!

Delish!!!  This recipe was soo yummy, and quite easy too! I made it for my Papa for his birthday. :)

Pumpkin torte, with pumpkin cream cheese frosting, caramel and toasted pecans. :)  (I never actually toasted the pecans due to lack of time, but they still tasted good ;))

Welcome!

Hi everyone, welcome to the very first post for the Croissant Cafe!! I'm so excited to be starting on my journey of opening a bakery. A little background for anyone new to me.....   I discovered about a year ago what an escape baking could be.  After a while it was no longer an escape, but something I loved doing.  In August I started college to earn my degree in Business Administration.  While it is a very hard, and frustrating degree, I will be glad I went through it.  Already I have learned countless things that I know I will use when I have a bakery.  I have begun to make things already to sell in order to build a customer base, and hope to be able to open a shop when I graduate.  So come with me on my journey!  I'm not shipping any goods as of yet, mainly selling localy.  You can email me, or leave a comment though if you are very interested, and something may be able to be worked out.  Thank you!
